This year we had 3 Xperts taking to the road in the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon, with some fierce competition breaking out between veteran participant Paul Michael Gledhill and first-time runner Sonalin Pereira in the 10k. The cool weather allowed for ideal running conditions with Dubai’s skyline providing the perfect backdrop.
Paul Michael Gledhill, Co-Founder and Executive Director, responds when asked about why he runs each year, “This year’s run being at a different venue and with what seemed like thousands more people was a challenge. Like all challenges the rewards at the end are significant. The runners who run this event for thousands of different reasons are incredible and I wouldn’t miss this each year and already look forward to next year”
