At the height of the dotcom boom, e-Learning was tipped as the next big thing in workplace education, with experts predicting that the future was online. Nowadays, e-Learning is one of the fastest growing sectors in the education market, worth $4-5 billion a year already and poised for further growth. 
To investigate the current status of e-Learning adoption in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a second and now annual survey, dedicated only to e-Learning, was conducted through a series of questions.
The key objective of the survey was to obtain an overview of companies in the UAE that already use e-Learning and those that were investigating using this learning modality.
