As part of the post workshops of the GCC Nationalization Summit Paul Michael Gledhill Executive Director and Co-Founder & Riham Khoury, Senior Account manager XpertLearning entertained a lively and totally engaged participant gathering at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Dubai.
The main conference organized by IQPC focused on both the newest and ongoing challenges the Gulf region faces with its Nationalization process. Nationalization has been one of the biggest challenges for the Gulf region since quotas were introduced. The obstacles of achieving a successful nationalization strategy have been down to many factors including: Cultural anomalies and lack of support and training. This summit provided in depth knowledge on methodological solutions and a platform for participants to benchmark, share ideas and learn from their peers. “One of the first questions I asked the participants was to score themselves from 1-10 (10 being totally engaged) with their current employers” explained Paul. The responses were funny interesting and diverse and set the tone for lively discussion and debate throughout the morning
